Meet our Volunteer Board
Patrick is a Fellow member of CPA Australia and has extensive financial operations experience working for several multinational manufacturing companies in CFO roles. He recently opted to reduce his full time work commitment to concentrate on his work with the Prey Veng community.
Melani is a qualified chartered accountant with more than 20 years of experience and is the Group Financial Controller of a major infrastructure company. Melani has been involved in Cambodian Kids Can since 2005 and passionately believes in the power of women and young girls to change the world and fight global poverty.
Sian is a Business Development Manager for RMIT University. Working to provide opportunities for students and researchers to engage with industry, she is a firm believer in the power of education. With a background in fundraising and marketing across the Not for Profit sector Sian also recognises the impact of working with women and girls.
Ka Mun works in financial analysis and M&A at a leading Australian entertainment company. She started volunteering with CKC in 2015, drawn to its focus on providing opportunities to women through education. Ka Mun believes that development programs are most effective when they empower people to determine their own futures, and is proud to be part of an organization that embodies that approach.
Stephen is a relationship manager/ technical expert/ business development manager and problem solver for one of Australia’s largest insurers. He has over ten years of experience in financial services, a Bachelors degree in Financial Planning, a Masters in Business Administration and an an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services. Originally, from Zimbabwe, Stephen is passionate about empowering children through education as he has seen the power this has firsthand.
Agatha is a passionate fundraiser with eight years experience fundraising for Oxfam in both the UK and Australia and across a range of fundraising programs from direct marketing to relationship management. Agatha joined the board in 2016 with a desire to help girls and young women get their fair share of education and opportunity.
Bronwyn has vast education experience. She founded and operates a social enterprise in 2017 delivering online tutoring to students in remote locations. Bronwyn has a strong belief that education empowers and every child has the right to access education no matter how they live.
