What an incredible evening we had at the 2024 CKC Gala Dinner Fundraiser! We all enjoyed a beautiful evening of fine dining, great company and fun activities while raising much needed funds for our staff and students in Cambodia. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to come along and to our sponsors Honeylight Consulting and EJM Financial Advisers, prize donors including Trewarne Fine Jewellers and all our supporters!
We are so appreciative of everyone’s wonderful support and their generosity. We are thrilled that the night was such a success, not only for the great company and bonhomie, but more importantly for the young women in Cambodia.
The result of everyone’s generosity means we can now undertake programs we had on hold:
We can level the playground at Mekhala House so the girls will have somewhere for outdoor games such as badminton;
We are able now to provide all the necessary equipment for the grounds;
We can sponsor three more students to go to university;
We can take in three more secondary school students to Mekhala House;
We can conduct a 3-day study tour of Sihanoukville for the girls in 2025;
And conduct another Reading and Learning program, incorporating the mobile library, for under-resourced primary schools.
None of this would have been possible without your support, thank you!
