Our Impact

Cambodian Kids Can has invested more than $1.1 million on the ground in Cambodia and employs 16 full time local Khmer staff.  

Since 2005, Mekhala House has:

  • Provided a safe home environment, health care and access to education for 85 girls

  • Enabled 20 young women to graduate from university and 2 to complete vocational training

Since 2009, the Reading and Learning Club has:

  • Provided 13 six month courses for 648 students (including 400 young women)

  • Allowed 600 local community members to visit the library each month

  • Enabled 1300 books to be read monthly
