As we welcome the vibrant colours and joyful celebrations of Cambodian New Year, we at Cambodian Kids Can are filled with gratitude for your ongoing support. This special time of year holds deep cultural significance for the people of Cambodia, marking a time of renewal, reflection, and community. This year, our students enjoyed traditional dance and new year celebrations prior to returning home to spend time with family.
Your support allows us to continue our mission of empowering at-risk girls in Prey Veng, Cambodia, through education and support. Together, we're not only changing lives but also preserving the cultural heritage and traditions that make Cambodia unique.

CKC Calls for URGENT FUNDS to support three new students.
We are making an URGENT CALL for additional funds to support three new students.
Each of the girls are from Prey Veng Province, mainly from rural villages. All have shown a passion for learning and education, despite the many barriers they face. The girls are from disadvantaged backgrounds, supported by parents or loved ones struggling to make ends meet.
Each student has a unique and inspiring story in their journey to Mekhala House, and their families are very grateful to Cambodian Kids Can in supporting their daughters to finish school.

The “Twin Tigers” artwork was lovingly drawn by artist and illustrator Duy Huynh, who has provided the signed design exclusively to Cambodian Kids Can. As the son of parents who were war refugees, he is passionate about providing opportunities to the disadvantaged, and was drawn to assist with our work. The design comes in two beautiful colour schemes: pink/orange, and blue/purple.
