As we move into the heart of the year, we are thrilled to share with you the incredible progress our students at Mekhala House and Mekhala Alumni have made. Each month brings new achievements and milestones, and it’s all thanks to your unwavering support and dedication.

Academic Progress
The academic progress of our students at Mekhala House is commendable. Here is a summary of their performance:
High School Students: The girls at Mekhala House are performing well academically; progress is good! From Year 7 to Year 12, we are pleased to report good grades and good engagement, with some students achieving such very good rankings, placing them among the top performers in their respective classes.
University Students: Our university students are making significant strides in their education:
One student is excelling in her third-year subjects, including Project Management and Intellectual Property Law.
Two students have completed their third year in Management, showing good results in courses like Environmental Business Management and Cross-Cultural Management.
Another group of students, now in their third year, are engaged in diverse subjects such as Marketing Management and Logistic Management, consistently performing well.
One student in Public Administration has completed her first semester with strong performance across various subjects.
A second-year IT student is advancing in her field, having completed projects on Laravel and preparing for an internship.
A freshman in Environmental Engineering at the Royal University of Phnom Penh is thriving, with a 50% scholarship and excellent engagement in courses like Digital Skills and Problem Solving and General Science.
Fundraising Update: CKC Calls for URGENT FUNDS to support three new students.
We launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of supporting THREE additional students. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised enough funds to support ONE more student.
While we did not meet our full target, we are immensely grateful for the contributions that have allowed us to extend our support to another deserving student.
We are still in need of $8000 to support the remaining two new students.
Each of the girls have shown a passion for learning and education, despite the many barriers they face. The families are very grateful to CKC in supporting their daughters to finish school.

Upcoming Gala Dinner
We are excited to announce our upcoming Gala Fundraiser! This event will be a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate our achievements, and raise crucial funds for our programs. We are currently seeking corporate sponsors to support the event and are looking for donations to be raffled off during the evening. Additionally, we will have door prizes to make the night even more special.
