When you purchase a Mekhala House Gift Card for someone, you’re helping us empower young women in rural Cambodia through education. Your tax-deductible donation is used to fund real items such as school stationery, clothing, or a bag of rice that are essential to the running of our Mekhala House project. Every purchase of Mekhala House gift cards helps us to educate young women and enable them to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. Your tax-deductible donation may fund the purchase of items like the one described in your card, as well as other aspects of CKC projects depending on the needs of Mekhala House students and the wider Prey Veng community. For example if food expenses have been fully funded, your donation will support other essential aspects of the operation of Mekhala House which help us empower young women through education.
